There always seems to be a need for a nice unique moderately priced gift for friends and family. So I turned to etsy, the perfect place to find something unique. And my treasure hunt paid off, and here are some of my finds

Well it is that time of year again. I don’t know about you, but my favorite part of gift buying is putting together fun stocking gifts. I don’t know about you, but for me most stocking gifts are things that a) fit inside the stocking and b) costs less than $5 (unless you are buying for me, those paint brushes do cost a bit more than that as do the diamonds).

For those that enjoy my art or have friends or family that do, I thought a nice gift guide of just stocking stuffers would be fun. And of course these also work great for teacher and office gifts on a budget.

Bookmarks always make great stocking stuffers for readers. They are inexpensive, colorful and these laminated ones are very sturdy and will do well inside a nicely stuffed stocking. They start at $1.75 for one or can be as little as 90 cents each if you need to buy several. In other words, they more you need the less they cost.

Coloring Books also make great stocking stuffers. And these are great for all ages, not just the kids. I also hear they make great embroidery patterns for the needle worker in your life. At only $4 you can’t go wrong.
