 | I finally finished the free downloadable coloring page for 2012. You may print and color this page as many times as you like for personal use. You may also print copies to hand out to your class for Valentines Day. You may not use this image for commercial purposes in any way. [...] Dragon Lore is my first painting for 2012. It was created for the Enchanted Visions Project. My daughter actually asked that I do a dragon wrapped around a book. After a few different sketches with that idea I finally settled on having the dragon’s tail wrapped around the book to hold it for reading. [...] This has been a horrible summer here in Texas. We broke the record for number of days in the triple digits. We have had no rain to speak of. And now we have wildfires destroying homes and farms across the state. And our area has had an energy shortage and we were asked to use [...] Yeah,I am really bad about keeping my blog updated over the summer. K is home,lots of stuff going on,not a whole lot of time to paint,so not much to share usually. But I have been getting some drawings done,I have discovered that I am a sketchbook snob,and I am [...] End of the Rainbow. In order to get the rich color that I want for this painting,it is taking lots an lots of layers of colors. But if you click on the rainbow sock you can see the rubber stamp inspired by this yet to be finished painting. Get yourself the stamp and [...] This little fellow is the result of a contest I ran on my facebook fan page last week for the craziest idea for a dragon painting. His little sock and mohawk are going to be rainbow colored and one of those sharp little teeth will be gold. I had to go ahead and ink [...] Flying Spaghetti Monster Has the Flying Spaghetti Monster been a hoax all this time? Has it really been just a Dragonette playing with his food? Or Did this cute little fellow vanquish the great FSM? Or is this completely unrelated to the real FSM? Inquiring minds want to know. [...] Because,yeah,I had to go there. Just try and explain this to everyone in the knitting circle. Oh what a mess a little dragonette can make of your good yarn. This little fellow was inspired by all the wonderful ladies in my life that are involved in the needle arts. Even I have been known to pull out my crochet [...] Here we have a cute little Dragonette tangled in a bit of yarn. It really is a bad idea to invite one of these little fellows to your knitting circle.
