 | Flying Spaghetti Monster Has the Flying Spaghetti Monster been a hoax all this time? Has it really been just a Dragonette playing with his food? Or Did this cute little fellow vanquish the great FSM? Or is this completely unrelated to the real FSM? Inquiring minds want to know. [...] And Purrfect Pearl is finished. I hope you all enjoyed watching her develop. I know I promised you all completed art everyday. But after a few,I realized that it just wasn’t possible for me. Not if I wanted to ever paint anything larger than a 5×7″. So I will try and post daily,but you just might be seeing more works in progress than completed paintings. [...] This is a detail of the inking for Purrfect Pearl. At this point,I have drawn this image 3 times. First the original pencil sketch,then used a pencil and light table to transfer it to watercolor paper,then inked that and erased the pencil lines. [...] Here wwe have Neo the fairy winged dragton. I worked on while at ConDFW in Dallas. BTW,if you have never been to a science fiction convention,but love the genre in art or literature,you so need to go to one. They are a blast and there are so many cool people to [...] Day 5 and 5 paintings. Ankle hurts and it is hard to prop it up while at the computer. So I will try and be more chatty tomorrow. See I managed it again. I am so excited to have completed a painting a day for 4 days now. Once again I was fighting a headache and other annoyances,so this is one that had been inked previously that I finally got around to painting. But I did complete it. [...] I have been working on this one for weeks now. Okay 2 weeks,but with all the ice and snow it has been a very long 2 weeks. But she is done. What took so long? Those medallions. Lots of little spaces to work with. Actually I am very happy with this painting. It [...] And here we have the second painting in my painting a day challenge. Today was all sorts of crazy with it being my daughter’s tenth birthday celebration. Handmade cupcakes due to milk allergies,so all sorts of crazy. And still I remembered to walk nearly 2 miles and get my daily painting done. Okay [...] |    | |||
