Steam Punk Belly Dancer in Watercolor
I finished this painting around 2am. I have been working on it as much as I could in between headaches since Friday. I think she might be the sexiest thing I have done yet. I think I might have finally grasped how to do flesh tones with watercolor paint. She is on etsy for now. But if she doesn’t have a home within the next week or so, I think she will have to go to a convention, just so folks can see her in person.

Thank you Nancy. And I agree completely about flesh tones not being easy with watercolor. I have struggled with it. i think the key for me is being willing to do lots and lots of light layers. That pale skin was done with about 6-7 glazes. Took forever.
