Well I was very busy over the holiday weekend. We went to visit J’s parents set off fireworks at the lake in Winnsboro. K loved it, but her and J both wished I had let them get something more dramatic and dangerous to play with.
I managed to get a lot of drawing done. As soon as I manage to finish off the shading for the last few I will post those as well.
The dragon with a sun flower is a slightly new design for dragons for me. Okay the rest of you might not notice, but I did the eyes a bit differently (can you tell I have been watching anime again?). I also narrowed the snout slightly to give it a more girly look. The original is available in my etsy store, and fun gift items are available in my cafepress shop.
Then there is Star Diver. She was done at K’s request. She wanted an angel cat called Star Diver, and this is what I came up with. I am real happy with how it turned out, even if it did take forever to stipple that background. Yes, I already have it at cafepress. I stayed up real late working on that, because I just had to share. The original is also available for sale at this time.
And last but not least is a pencil drawing I did while waiting for it to get dark enough to shoot off fireworks. It kept me distracted from the fact that Off doesn’t seem to ever keep the mosquitoes away from me. This is a page from my sketchbook. I am thinking it needs to be drawn onto some nice paper and inked. Yes, that is a poor little kitty riding on a rocket.
